Reducing or removing a large rock in yard.

l have a large rock in the front yard of my new home that revealed itself

after this years heavy snow and rain erosion. It was grass when l bought

the place. l think it is granite. l would like to remove it or reduce it

enough where l can cover will soil and grass again. My question is do l

need to rent heavy equipment, or can l get a hand tool to chip it down to

Get a pick ax and an iron bar and try to pry it out. If too

Better yet..why not sell it? Put an ad on Craig is List,
